2020 Summer All Star (Spirit) Interest Registration NOW OPEN!

UpdatedSaturday June 6, 2020 byPaul Boleajck.

With the status of summer sports in question we are looking to gauge how many players might be interested in the Summer All-Star Program. With sufficient interest, we will look at forming teams and/or holding tryouts. We are also looking at what game/tournament opportunities are available.

AGSA has developed COVID-19 guidelines for practices and a new participation Waiver that will need to be signed in order to participate. USSSA, who sanctions most of our tournaments has also developed COVID-19 policies, as has USSSA East, who hosts USSSA tournaments in our region.

Participants in the 2020 Spirit program at the 8U, 10U and 12U levels MUST have been registered for the Spring 2020 House program. 15U level participants must have been registered in the House program or rostered on a High School team.

This is a competitive program and playing time is not guaranteed. The goal is to provide an opportunity for those players who are interested in improving their softball skills and/or playing in a tournament setting. Players will participate in 1-2 weekly practices and 3 or 4 tournaments (if scheduled) through the summer. There will be an additional cost for participation in the Spirit program (historical range of $150-$250). Scholarships are available.

There will be NO PLAYING UP. We may have multiple teams in one age group and the season will end no later than 8/31/20. Tryout dates and format are TBD. Contact All Star Commissioners Paul Webster ( and Christopher Hernandez ( with questions but understand we are still developing plans and may not have answers yet. If you have comments about what you'd like to see the program be, include them in your registration.
